Guatemala Mission Trip
Join us on our second annual mission trip to Guatemala!
September 3 - 10, 2011
Antigua, Guatemala
If you are looking for a way to make a difference in the world and have tons of fun doing it, look no further.
We plan to visit three of the orphanages we support: God Bless The Children, Hogar San Jeronimo, and Hogar Anna Vitiello, an orphanage for children with AIDS. We will delivery much needed supplies and shower the children with lots of love and attention.
We've also scheduled time to explore the beauty of Guatemala. Enjoy sightseeing, shopping and other leisure activities. You can take a tour and visit one of the nearby towns, volcanoes or a coffee plantation, or even take a Spanish class.
We hope you can join us for this amazing and life-changing adventure! There will be plenty to do and many ways you can help. You can help care for and play with the children; lead them in an activity, craft, or song; or participate in a project to improve their living conditions. There are so many beautiful youngsters who need our help. When you reflect on what you have accomplished at the end of this trip, you will know that you have made a difference in the lives of these children without forever families.
Not sure if you can afford it? The hotel we stay at has very affordable rates, breakfast is included. Many of the volunteers share rooms. Maybe you have a friend who can donate his/her frequent flyer miles to you. You could also try raising money by having a Bake Sale, organizing a neighborhood Garage Sale, or selling some Lemonade on a hot day—the opportunities are endless.
If you are interested in learning more about the trip, please contact Jackie Marcucci Price via email at jackie@mikesangels.org.
Thank you and we hope to see you in Guatemala in June!
Best regards,
